Indonesian power provider PLN has teamed up with domestic energy company PGN, Keppel Shipyard and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement on its Gorontalo project to develop a small-scale LNG-to-power solution. But progress on the development is proving slow.

Consultants working in South East Asia said the partners, which are understood to have been selected earlier this year, have priced the 15,000-cbm floating storage and regasification unit for the project at slightly over $30m.
