Japan's MOL has entered into a preliminary agreement to supply a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to Hong Kong.

The 263,000-cbm FSRU Challenger (built 2017) will serve CLP Power's Hong Kong offshore LNG terminal project on a long-term contract.

TradeWinds tipped the ship for the business in February, reporting that the charter would last for 13 years.

The world's largest FSRU was built at DSME and is on a three-year charter in Turkey with state energy company Botas.
