Epic confirms it has acquired the 9,500-cbm Mayfair (built 2007) and Charlton (built 2006), with long-term charters for both vessels, but does not provide details.
TradeWinds sources, however, say Epic is paying a firm $52m enbloc, with time charters running at $450,000 per month for each vessel.
Including newbuildings, Epic controls a fleet of 44 small pressurised LPG carriers.
