The Singapore-based shipowner said Thursday that it has ordered a third 7,500-cbm vessel at Sasaki Shipbuilding.
The Lars Vang Christensen-led company said the LPG vessel is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Epic’s newbuilding program now stands at 14 vessels. Three are due for delivery in 2014, three in 2015, seven in 2016, and one in 2017.
Earlier this month it acquired the 9,500-cbm Mayfair (built 2007) and the 9,500-cbm Charlton (built 2006) for an undisclosed fee.
