The company confirmed the acquisition of the 73,800-cbm JA Sunshine (built 1994) from Kumiai Senpaku of Japan, taking delivery on Tuesday.
The VLGC had been linked with the company last July and again in March this year, with the price tag estimated at $26m.
GE sold the 75,000-cbm VLGC Jag Vidhi (built 1990) last week.
