The yard will build the vessel for Chinese gas systems company CIMC Enric SJZ Gas and it will be operated by Indonesia’s state-owned power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PT PLN) on Indonesian voyages.
PT PLN was reported to have already ordered a 2,200-cbm CNG carrier back in July at China’s Qingdao Wuchuan Heavy Industry.
But TradeWinds understands that deal was not concluded.
