Kalborg’s appointment increases the size of the John Hadjipateras-led shipowner’s board from nine to ten members.
Dorian LPG said Kalborg will serve an initial term expiring at the company’s 2015 annual meeting of shareholders.
Effective 12 December 2015, Kalborg will also serve as a member of the audit committee, which will consist of three directors.
Last month Scorpio tankers president Robert Bugbee relinquished his seat on Dorian LPG’s board of directors.
