It is in “advanced discussions” for longer charters for its six multipurpose ships that can also carry LPG and ethylene as well as LNG.
This would enable it to either refinance some of the vessels or develop new ownership structures, it added.
The company said in a trading update that it had decided to position most of the Norgas LPG and LNG fleet for trading outside the Persian Gulf region, aiming for additional business west of Suez.
