The shipbuilder said a firm 180,000-cbm vessel will be delivered in 2018, with an option attached.

It will be 297.2m long and 46.4m wide.

TradeWinds tipped the yard for the deal in January and DSME appeared to have announced the contract earlier this month, when it said an unnamed owner had ordered a 174,000-cbm carrier at the yard for $200m.

This vessel now appears to have been an option declared by Teekay.
