The Qatar-based shipowner said net income was QAR 895m ($245.8m) compared to the QAR 730m achieved in 2013.

Revenue for the year was QAR 3.6bn, a year-on-year increase of 5% on the QAR 3.4bn seen in the previous year.

“All aspects of the company’s operations have achieved a higher profitability level,” Nakilat said in a statement.

“This was clearly demonstrated by the addition of a number of LNG vessels to Nakilat’s fleet during 2014 and the remarkable improvement in the performance of the LPG vessels.”
