Exmar said it has entered a joint venture for a new LNG import terminal in India.
The Belgian gasship owner said its agreement with Swan Energy is for the development and operation of the Jafrabad LNG Port project, which will be sited in the State of Gujarat, India.
The Jafrabad LNG Port will be able to receive 5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG, with one jetty-moored floating, storage and regasification unit (FSRU).
