Norway's Hoegh LNG Holdings has made it back into the black in the third quarter as revenue increased.

The gas carrier owner said net profit to 30 September was $2.49m, up from a loss of $18.12m in the same period of 2014.

Revenue was $58.2m, up from $32.7m, and EBITDA rose to $26.56m from a loss of $5.51m, mainly due to a full quarter of commercial operations by the 170,000-cbm FSRU Hoegh Gallant (built 2014), which started commercial operations under the time charter with Egas in April 2015.
