French LNG carrier systems group GTT has signed a cooperation deal with South Korean shipyard DSME to test its upgraded membrane containment equipment.
GTT said DSME will build a mock-up of the new NO96 Max technology in 2016, aimed at validating both the assembly and the cryogenic performance of the system.
This includes a study on keeping manufacturing costs as low as possible.
