The first waterborne shipment of US ethane is being loaded over the next “few days,” according to an executive at terminal operator Sunoco Logistics.
Sunoco chief executive Mike Hennigan said the first phase of the Mariner East pipeline is ready to ship ethane after the recent installation of refrigeration. Mariner East will transport ethane to the Marcus Hook terminal in Pennsylvania for export.
