Major players across the LNG value chain have teamed up to form a new cross-industry initiative to accelerate the use of LNG as a marine fuel.

In a meeting that took place in London earlier today, Carnival Corp, DNV GL, Lloyd's Register, NYK Line, Tote and Shell signed the official agreement of newly born SEA/LNG.

Wartsila, Qatargas, Mitsubishi Corp, ENGIE, GTT, ENN, GE and the Port of Rotterdam are also taking part in the initiative.
