JP Morgan has pulled down its spot rate forecasts for LNG carriers over the next couple of years amid high fleet growth.
Analyst Noah Parquette has shaved his expectations for 2016 and reduced his projections for both 2017 and 2018.
He says the first half of this year saw only 12 newbuildings delivered but fleet growth through 2018 is pegged at between 7% and 9%.
