Mitsui OSK Lines has cut its LNG fleet expansion plans on the back of the global gas prices slump.

Takeshi Hashimoto, a senior managing executive officer at MOL, said in an interview in Tokyo today that the company aims for a tally of 100 LNG ships by 2020, compared to initial plans of 120.

Bloomberg reported that the company will announce the change in its mid-term plan next year.
