Procopiou’s Dynacom Tankers is set to become the first owner with a “gas-prepared” notation granted by Bureau Veritas, the classification society said.
This notation will cover six 157,000-dwt tankers that Dynacom has currently under construction at New Times Shipbuilding. The ships are to be delivered in 2017 and 2018. Reference sources show Procopiou currently building a total 13 suezmax units at the Chinese yard.
