Rolls-Royce is set to cut around 200 jobs in Norway as part of a wider restructuring of its marine division, TradeWinds is told.
Anette Bonnevie Wollebaek, Rolls-Royce Nordic region communications manager, says the likely Norwegian job losses come out of a global reduction in the marine workforce of around 800.
Of the 2,500 people Rolls-Royce employs in Norway, 750 are employed at its engine factory in Bergen, which comes under its power systems division.
