Solstad Offshore has secured employment for a construction support vessel (CSV) that has been working for Saipem for a few years.

The drilling company has signed a four-year frame agreement with Solstad for the 10,979-gt Normand Cutter (built 2001).

Through this agreement, Saipem can utilize the vessel to support subsea construction activities worldwide.

Saipem has already declared an option to mobilize the Normand Cutter for six months on a project in West Africa starting in June.
