Trader and shipowner Vitol is teaming up with Quantafuel to produce fuel made from recycled plastic.
Vitol is providing an undisclosed amount of financing to the Norwegian company to turn out the synthetic low-carbon diesel.
It will also be the sole marketer of the product.
Quantafuel processes plastic waste into diesel using its own technology.
