Commodity trader Louis Dreyfus Company has promoted from within after the resignations of its CEO and CFO.

The company said Gonzalo Ramirez Martiarena had left the company to “pursue other opportunities” after 13 years, while CFO Armand Lumens, who joined in March 2017 from Shell, had stepped down for “personal reasons”.

It named Ian McIntosh, its chief strategy officer, as the new CEO and Federico Cerisoli, the deputy CFO, as the new finance chief.
