Siem Sailor sails away

Norway’s OH Meling has snapped up a platform supply ship (PSV) previously owned by its joint venture with compatriot Siem Offshore.

Siem said it had sold the 2007-built Siem Sailor (4,800 dwt) to Meling for NOK 295m ($49.21m).

It was owned by Siem Meling Offshore, in which Siem had 51% and Meling 49%.

Delivery is set for July 2014.
