The company paid MYR 310m ($97m) for the terminal. The deal includes nine large parcels of land in the vicinity of the terminal, which Boustead says it plans to build an oil & gas yard suitable for the fabrication of onshore and offshore structures and modules.
It will continue to operate the cruise terminal, which is the main cruise gateway to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.
