China’s TCC Group has sold one of its aframax tankers in a deal that shows a continued fall in asset values, brokers say.
It is said to have secured a price of $17.5m to $18m for the 107,000-dwt CSK Valiant (built 2003).
The ship had been on time charter to BP for a year at $22,000 per day but that deal ended this summer.
