KNOT Offshore Partners (KNOP) has seen Statoil declare the last two optional years of the contract of a shuttle tanker.
The oil major will keep the 158,000-dwt Bodil Knutsen (built 2011) until May 2019.
KNOP did not reveal the rate and said the terms of the extension are based on the existing contract.
The Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers’ spin-off has granted Statoil new five annual options.
