The United Kingdom Mutual Steam Ship Assurance Association is joining the band of protection and indemnity clubs offering a premium discount while seeking no general increase at the forthcoming February renewal.
The second biggest of the P&I clubs rang up a $24m surplus through the first half of the current policy year with the overall performance described as “extremely strong.”
The UK Club is to offer a 3% reduction on premium for the 2015 policy year.
