Insurance broking giant Marsh is losing its hull and protection and indemnity chiefs in London.

Andrew Reynolds, a long-term P&I specialist with the biggest of the broking groups, is to join the Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association as an underwriter. Helen Costin, who heads the hull operation, is switching to a similar role with the rival Aon broking group.

The resignations are an unlucky coincidence, but Marcus Baker, head of the broker’s global marine business, said Marsh will continue to invest in hull and P&I.
