Texas Terminals is pursuing litigation because it wants Denmark's Thorco Shipping all to itself.
The stevedore and terminal operator alleges in a Houston lawsuit that it has had an agreement with Thorco since January 2015 to service the Thomas Mikkelsen-led company's multipurpose (MPP) ships.
Texas Terminals operates a 65-acre facility on the Houston Ship Channel that handles breakbulk, dry bulk, project and heavylift cargoes.
