A Seoul court has cut the jail sentence of a former DSME CEO convicted of accounting fraud.

Ko Jae-ho got 10 years in January, but this has been reduced to nine, the Yonhap news agency said.

Ko was in charge of the restructuring company between 2012 and 2015.

He was charged last year with over-reporting KRW 5.7 trillion ($5bn) of assets at the Korean shipbuilder, as well as obtaining loans using faked financial statements.
