The Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) bunker market — one of the largest in the world — is the target of a price-fixing investigation.
The Netherlands' Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) announced its probe into alleged price fixing and possible cartels in the ARA market last week.
ACM spokesman Murco Mijnlieff says the investigation began two months ago and police raids were made recently to collect evidence.
