DryShips says the High Court of the Marshall Islands denied a request to halt the company's ongoing sale of shares to Kalani Investments.
In his lawsuit, plaintiff Michael Sammons, who holds 45,000 shares in the Athens-based shipowner, sought to block further sales of DryShips shares. He argued the sales to Kalani have destroyed value for existing shareholders by being done at below-market prices.
