South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for the chairman of Hanjin Group, accusing him of embezzling money to renovate his home.
Cho, on whose watch Hanjin Shipping collapsed last year, was questioned by police last month over the use of KRW 3bn ($2.66m) of company money, the Korea Herald reported.
The cash was intended for the construction of a hotel in Incheon.
