Norwegian law firm Wikborg Rein celebrated its 15th year in Shanghai recently, with local and home-country clients on hand.

Partners were in attendance from Oslo, London and Bergen to mark the occasion, held at a top-floor watering hole with a panoramic view of the Bund and the skyscrapers of Pudong.

Wikborg Rein is one of only two Nordic law firms with bases in mainland China — the other being Sweden's Mannheimer Swartling — and the only one that does shipping and offshore business here, with partners Sun Yafeng, Zong Ronin and managing partner Christian James-Olsen all in the space.
