Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has seen Asia to US west coast box volumes jump 55.3% in January.
Cargo rose year-on-year from 9,594 teu per week to 14,899 teu at the end of the month.
Its market share in the trade has grown to 7.5%, up 2.6% from 2016.
