Japan's MOL has taken delivery of the world's biggest boxship.
The 20,170-teu MOL Triumph was handed over by Samsung Heavy Industries on Monday, the first of six ultra-large containerships MOL has on order there.
The 400-metre vessel is being deployed in THE Alliance’s Asia to Europe trade through the FE2 service.
Its maiden voyage from Xingang will begin in April, taking in Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian and Singapore.
