Wessels Reederei expects to convert more container feeder vessels to LNG-propulsion after securing a long-term charterer for its pilot project.
Danish liner operator Unifeeder has committed to fixing the first such vessel converted for dual-fuel propulsion for one year with an optional second year.
The 1,036-teu Wes Amelie (built 2011) will be deployed on a service between Rotterdam and the Baltic Sea.
