Pasha Hawaii is adding to efforts to relieve storm-battered Puerto Rico as it moves one of its Pacific ships to the Atlantic.
The privately held Jones Act shipowner says the 2,172-teu Horizon Spirit (built 1980) will carry bottled water from the US West Coast to Puerto Rico.
The charter is with Lipsey Mountain Spring Water, which is a prime contractor for bottled water used in disaster relief.
