Shreyas Shipping & Logistics has agreed the disposal of an elderly feeder containership, the Indian shipowner has confirmed.
It says it has signed a memorandum of agreement for the sale of the 509-teu SSL Sagarmala (built 1989), according to a regulatory filing.
Brokers say the ship has achieved $400 per ldt from breakers in Bangladesh, meaning the owner will pick up around $1.3m
