Seacor Holdings is boosting Jones Act shipping capacity between the US mainland and Puerto Rico as part of the island territory's recovery from Hurricane Maria.

Seacor chief operating officer Eric Fabrikant says supplies are finally getting off the docks to Puerto Rico’s interior.

“We’re starting to receive trailers back in our terminals, which is a good thing,” Fabrikant said.

But the amount of devastation on the island will require a lot of shipping capacity for the foreseeable future.
