Arne Blystad-led Songa Container is set to follow Norwegian compatriot Awilco Container in seeking asset play on boxships to capitalise on historic low prices.
Awilco Container has already sold on subjects three vessels that it purchased earlier this year and now Songa Container is taking the same path.
According to Norwegian daily Finansavisen, the 3,104-teu Songa Alya (built 2004) was purchased as Norasia Alya as late as September for $6.35m.
