The Navios Maritime group plans to combine its fleet of nearly 40 boxships into a single entity that will probably be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Twenty containerships held by Oslo-listed Navios Maritime Containers (Navios Containers) could be joined by 20 others from Navios in a vehicle that TradeWinds understands will be listed in New York.

The move involves injecting vessels from three Navios companies into Navios Containers, which in the six months since listing on the Norwegian over-the-counter (OTC) market has acquired 20 traditional panamax containerships.
