Crowley Maritime says it will separate out its shipping, fueling and services units in a restructuring move aimed at emphasizing its logistics businesses.
Tom Crowley, the third generation to head the Florida-based diversified vessel owner, said he is trying to pivot the 125-year-old company toward its growing portfolio of government work.
Crowley won a $2.3bn defense freight transportation services contract award with the Defense Department.
