Finnish owner Containerships has pulled out of the red in a stronger third quarter.

The company said it broke even on a net basis, compared to a loss of EUR 0.6m ($0.7m) in the same period of 2016.

Revenue was up at EUR 55.8m from EUR 48.4m a year ago.

The result was due to better utilisation rates, driven mostly by operational efficiency measures and the positioning of empty containers.
