MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has clinched another fleet deal as it continues to expand.
The Oslo-listed company said it has agreed to pay $139.5m for 14 boxships from an unnamed company.
These consist of four 1,300-teu vessels, four of 1,500 teu, two 1,800-teu units, two of 2,500 teu and another two of 2,800 teu.
When they are delivered in the first quarter, MPCC will own 58 ships.
