Maersk Line is beefing up its Mediterranean to Canada boxship run.

The Danish owner wants to cater to the growing demands of importers and exporters on both sides of the Atlantic.

The new service offers direct calls at Montreal and Halifax, upgrading Maersk Line’s transatlantic coverage and improving product reliability, it said.

"Product enhancements come as the current CETA and future CPTPP accords are expected to enable tariff-free trades between Canada, the EU and Asia-Pacific countries," it added.
