The merging of two loops will take place in the middle of April, Korea's Hanjin said.
Hanjin's AUS/ASA run from Singapore, with ANL, OOCL and RCL, will be combined with the existing SAL string, operated by CSCL, HMM, Hapag-Lloyd and UASC.
The former involves four 1,900-teu vessels covering Jakarta, Singapore, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The latter deploys four 2,250-teu ships from Port Kelang to Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
