The company said the country’s antitrust watchdog had deniedits bid to access information on the raids carried out on 10 September.

But now the competition appeals committee has rescinded thedecision to block it from the files.

It ruled the case should go back to the competition authorityfor further assessment and a new decision on Eimskip’s request for access tothe information.

The company said: “Eimskip assumes that in the light of this new ruling…thecompany will be granted access to the requested information and that suchaccess will explain the reasons behind the dawn raid exercised last September.”
