The CC barred the group from operating vessels to Calais last year. The ships were acquired from bankrupt SeaFrance.
But in December 2013, an appeals tribunal asked the CC to reconsider whether the transaction was a transfer of a business or just assets.
The CC said on Friday it believes it has jurisdiction because it views the deal as a business transfer.
