New York-listed Danaos says the laid-up 4,700 teu Duka (built 1992) has been sold for $11.0m, with delivery to its new owner this month.
It has collected a further $11.1m from the disposal of the 4,700-teu Commodore (built 1992), according to its quarterly report.
TradeWinds has previously reported the vessel sold for demolition in India, with the price aided by an 85-ton bronze propeller.
